Genealogy of Pat Perez
Pat Perez is a Mexican American from Phoenix, Arizona birth. Ashley Perez, his wife, is his wife now. To date, Pat Perez has finished in second place three times in the Bob Hope Classic, where he won his first PGA Tour tournament in 2009. In 2018, he reached the best of No. 16 in the Official World Golf Ranking.
On January 22, 2009, Perez shot a 124 (20) through the first 36 holes of the Bob Hope Classic, the lowest score through 36 holes in PGA Tour history. Several records were set or tied in the beginning.
Besides the baseball championship, Perez witnessed another type of championship firsthand. Being Pat Burrell’s next-door neighbor meant he was immersed in Philly’s culture for years. He said, “I was part of that (2008) squad (that won the World Series) because I know all of the guys, I had my locker there, and I would come and visit them all the time.” in an interview conducted in January of 2010. If I were a fan, I’d cheer for them like I was on the team.
To recover from shoulder surgery, Perez missed most of the 2015–16 golf season. At the 2016 OHL Classic in Mayakoba, he finally won again after 2009. He also became the first golfer to win a PGA Tour tournament while using a Medical Extension since Harrison Frazar in the 2011 St. Jude Classic. As of 2017, Perez is the CIMB Classic champion.
